The Forbes Five-Star Spa in Massachusetts is the next best thing after spending time in the real wilderness
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Boston will be the first Spa in the United States to offer Aromatherapy Associates’ new Forest Therapy Journey, inspired by the Japanese art of Shinrin-Yoku (Forest Bathing) which entails spending time in nature amongst the trees to improve one’s overall well-being.
This 80-minute treatment provides an experience similar to what one experiences in a peaceful natural landscape. Through Forest Therapy, guests will immediately feel restored from the stress of modern living. A cleansing guided meditation, followed by a deep, long massage relieves restlessness and agitation. The treatment concludes with a grounding mud mask for the feet and a soothing scalp massage.
